Ingredients: 

Large Tomato: 1
Garlic Cloves: 10
Whole Dried Red Chili: 3
Sugar: ½ tsp
Oil for frying: 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Instructions: 

1) Grind together tomato, dried red chilies and garlic

2) Heat Oil in a pan. Add tomato and garlic paste

3) Fry on a medium heat till oil separates from the chutney. Add sugar and salt

4) Remove from flame

 

Common Mistakes: 

Tomato gives a sour taste if it is not fried well

Tips: 

1) Use the dish as a hot spread for sandwiches and wraps

2) Store the dish in the fridge using an air tight container. It can last for a week.
